CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Aaron M. Jernigan-Parish, 30, Louisiana, was arrested in the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue at about 11:46 a.m. Nov. 21 and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged vehicle prowl.
• Benjamin R. Hardy, 49, Centralia, was arrested in the 200 block of West Pear Street at about 1:36 p.m. Nov. 22 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly violating a domestic violence no-contact order.
• Amber L. Fletcher, 43, Winlock, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 2:43 p.m. Nov. 22 and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for third-degree theft after she was allegedly caught shoplifting from a store.
• John Williford, 30, Centralia, was arrested in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at about 11:01 p.m. Nov. 22 and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for second-degree criminal trespassing after he allegedly entered and remained unlawfully on property from which he was previously banned.
• Jack Muller, 18, Centralia, was arrested in the 1200 block of Grand Avenue at about 1:48 p.m. Nov. 23 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree robbery, domestic violence, after allegedly injuring a family/household member and taking their phone.
• Kailin Eiffert, 18, Lacey, and Starlin Stratton, 19, Pacific, were arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for third-degree theft and minor in possession of alcohol after allegedly shoplifting alcoholic beverages from a local business in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 6:54 p.m. Nov. 23.
Accidents
• A two-vehicle collision occurred in the 800 block of South Gold Street at about 2:20 p.m. Nov. 21. One driver was reportedly transported to the hospital for suspected minor injuries.
• Katherine Anderson, 24, Rochester, was referred to the Centralia Municipal Court for third-degree theft after allegedly shoplifting merchandise and fleeing into the roadway in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 9:50 p.m. Nov. 23, where she was struck by a passing motorist. Anderson was reportedly transported for medical treatment.
Criminal trespassing
• TJ C.L. Davis, 27, Winlock, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail after allegedly going onto property from which he was previously banned in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue at about 10:28 p.m. Nov. 21. Upon his arrest, officers allegedly found Davis in possession of suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Malicious mischief
• Vandalism to an automobile was reported in the 1400 block of Prospect Avenue at about 5:21 p.m. Nov. 23. No suspect information was available.
Possession of stolen property
• A juvenile was referred for second-degree possession of stolen property in the 1000 block of North Washington Avenue at about 12:18 p.m. Nov. 21 after the juvenile was allegedly found with stolen credit cards.
Shooting complaint
• Officers responded to a report of multiple gunshots fired outside a residence in the 1500 block of Oxford Avenue at about 3:37 a.m. Nov. 23. The incident allegedly began as a family dispute and is under investigation.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Michael A. Ropka was reportedly taken into custody in the 1200 block of Southwest William Avenue at about 12:25 p.m. Nov. 20, transported to the Lewis County Jail by Centralia police, and booked for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
• David Thrailkill was arrested for alleged attempted burglary in the 900 block of Southwest 16th Street at about 5:13 a.m. Nov. 21.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Nov. 24, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 164 inmates, including 151 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 125 were reported male and 26 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Nov. 24, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 26 inmates. Of those, 12 were from Centralia and six were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were two inmates from the Quileute Nation and one each from the Suquamish Tribe, Skokomish Tribe, Shoalwater Bay Tribe, Tulalip Tribe, Lummi Nation and the Chehalis Tribal Court.
