Sirens: Sexual assault of juvenile reported; three arrested for DUIs; local jail statistics

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests

• Jose D. Ramirez-Ruiz, 41, Centralia, was arrested in the 1500 block of Logan Street at about 11:10 a.m. April 17 for alleged unlawful possession of a firearm.

• James C. Tryon, 51, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for allegedly violating a no-contact order in the 1400 block of Johnson Road at about 4:25 p.m. April 18.

• Kalief A. Ford, 25, Tacoma, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged third-degree theft in the 100 block of West High Street at about 7:33 p.m. April 19. According to police, Ford was allegedly caught stealing from two local clothing stores.

• John A. Clanton, 35, Oregon, was arrested in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 12:56 a.m. April 20 and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for third-degree malicious mischief after allegedly breaking a door at a local motel.

Accidents

• Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision near the corner of Exhibitor Road and North National Avenue at about 12:15 p.m. April 17.

• Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision near the corner of North Tower Avenue and East Pine Street at about 11:46 a.m. April 18.

• Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 300 block of North Tower Avenue at about 12:12 p.m. April 18. Police cited a juvenile for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Burglary

• Officers responded to a burglary and theft of tools in the 1500 block of Kresky Avenue at about 9:33 a.m. April 17. The case is under investigation.

Criminal trespass

• An individual from Oregon was trespassed from private property in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 1:35 p.m. April 19.

• A transient individual from Centralia was trespassed from private property in the 1400 block of South Gold Street at about 1:53 p.m. April 19.

•  Sabrina D. Orio-Dettling, 50, Orting, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged first-degree criminal trespass in the 1100 block of Eckerson Road at about 4:28 p.m. April 19.

• Royce A. Blankenship, 58, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged second-degree criminal trespass in the 200 block of East Chestnut Street at about 9:22 p.m. April 19. Police said Blankenship had previously been trespassed from the property.

DUI

• Raul De La Cruz Rosas, 21, Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the 400 block of South Tower Avenue at about 7:26 p.m. April 17.

• Brandon F. McDonald, 44, Chehalis, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of intoxicating fumes in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue at about 9:40 p.m. April 18.

• Jesus Martinez Gonzalez, 31, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol near the corner of West Reynolds Avenue and Van Wormer Street at about 10:35 p.m. April 19.



Drug paraphernalia

• Isaiah M. Davis, 42, Centralia, was arrested and released with a criminal citation for alleged use of drug paraphernalia in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue at about 2:47 p.m. April 18.

Hit-and-run

• Officers responded to a hit-and-run collision in the 100 block of South Gold Street at about 12:40 p.m. April 17.

Possession of a controlled substance

• Adam C. Perron, 34, Aberdeen, was arrested and released with a criminal citation for alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the 100 block of West High Street at about 6:10 p.m. April 19.

Theft

• Officers investigated a department store theft in the 1400 block of Lum Road at about 2:07 p.m. April 18.

Rape

• Officers investigated a reported sexual assault against a juvenile in the 600 block of Centralia College Boulevard at about 11:05 a.m. April 18. The case is still under investigation.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Chehalis Police Department has not yet released its most recent call reports. Look for updated information in an upcoming edition of The Chronicle and at chronline.com when the reports are made available.

JAIL STATISTICS

• As of April 20, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 149 inmates, including 136 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 111 were reported male and 25 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.

• As of April 20, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 25 inmates. Of those, 19 were from Centralia, one was from Elma and two were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there was one each from the Quileute Nation, the Shoalwater Bay Tribe and the Skokomish Tribe.
