CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Randy C. Hendricks, 45, Yakima, was arrested in the 100 block of South Pearl Street at about 1 p.m. April 22 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an alleged Department of Corrections felony warrant for escape from community custody.
• Perry Anderson, 68, Long Beach, was arrested in the 1900 block of Cooks Hill Road at about 5:29 p.m. April 22 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an outstanding Pacific County Superior Court arrest warrant after allegedly failing to register as a sex offender.
• James Tryon, 51, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for fourth-degree assault after allegedly spitting on another person during a verbal dispute in the 300 block of Linda Lane at about 7:54 p.m. April 22.
Accidents
• A two-vehicle collision with no injuries was reported in the 200 block of Downing Road at about 7:01 a.m. April 22.
Assault
• Officers received a report that transient individuals had assaulted a juvenile at Fort Borst Park in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue at about 9:56 a.m. April 22. The case is under investigation.
Criminal trespass
• Raimo T. Pearson, 51, Centralia, was arrested and issued a criminal citation for alleged first-degree criminal trespass in the 300 block of West Reynolds Avenue at about 8:58 a.m. April 22.
• Angelynne K. Christiansen, 63, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged criminal trespass in the 100 block of South Pearl Street at about 12:25 p.m. April 22.
• Teresa L. Leys, 57, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged first-degree criminal trespass in the 100 block of South Silver Street at about 3:55 p.m. April 23.
DUI
• Tomas Artemio, 27, Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated near the corner of West Fifth Street and North Pearl Street at about 5:08 p.m. April 22.
• Nicholas Saia, 30, Kelso, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail after allegedly operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated in the 400 block of East Summa Street at about 10:21 p.m. April 22.
Possession of controlled substances
• Marianne N. Glatzmaiermace, 43, Centralia, was arrested and issued a criminal citation for alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 200 block of West Oakview Avenue at about 8:32 a.m. April 22.
Sexual misconduct
• A possible sexual assault, which occurred years ago, was reported in the 300 block of West Sixth Street at about 4:30 p.m. April 23. The case is under investigation.
Theft
• Officers received a report that someone broke into a car and stole a wallet in the 700 block of East Locust Street at about 3:25 p.m. April 23.
• A scooter was reported stolen during the night in the 1100 block of G Street at about 3:57 p.m. April 23.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Matthew P. Barela was arrested at the corner of Northwest Cascade Avenue and North Market Boulevard at about 6:06 p.m. April 22 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an alleged felony warrant out of Walla Walla for fourth-degree assault. Barela was also booked for alleged known possession of a controlled substance.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of April 24, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 145 inmates, including 132 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 106 were reported male and 26 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of April 24, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 16 inmates. Of those, eight were from Centralia, one was from Napavine and three were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there was one each from the Quileute Nation, the Shoalwater Bay Tribe, the Chehalis Tribal Court and Chehalis Tribal Law Enforcement.
