CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Benjamin D. Huntley, 58, Centralia, was arrested and issued a criminal citation for alleged possession of a controlled substance after he was contacted and trespassed from a property in the 300 block of North Gold Street at about 2:30 p.m. Sept. 22.
• Daryl A. Ball, 67, Centralia, was arrested and issued a criminal citation for alleged possession of a controlled substance after he was contacted and trespassed from a property in the 1100 block of West First Street at about 2:57 p.m. Sept. 22.
• Gregory C. Hicks, 64, Centralia, was arrested and booked at Chehalis Tribal Jail after allegedly assaulting a member of the household in the 1300 block of Rose Street at about 10:43 p.m. Sept. 22.
Theft
• Supplies were reported stolen from a medical office in the 1200 block of South Gold Street at about 1:30 p.m. Sept. 22. The case is under investigation.
Accidents
• Officers responded to a two-vehicle blocking collision at the corner of South Silver Street and Centralia College Boulevard at about 4:53 p.m. Sept. 22. The single driver involved was reportedly evaluated for injuries and cleared by EMTs.
• Officers responded to a two-vehicle blocking collision in the 1300 block of Art Lehmann Drive at about 5:39 p.m. Sept 22. No injuries were reported.
Assault
• An employee at a local business was reportedly spit on by a male in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 8:43 p.m. Sept. 22. The case is under investigation.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Taylor K. Rebman, 34, Toledo, was arrested and booked into Lewis County Jail for second-degree arson after allegedly setting fire to plastic and garbage in the 400 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue at about 10:31 p.m. Sept. 22.
Malicious Mischief
• Fresh tagging on the back of a building was reported in the 300 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue at about 8:03 a.m. Sept. 22. No suspect info was available.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Sept. 22, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 185 inmates, including 172 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 146 were reported male and 26 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
