Collision Causes Injury

• At 9:31 a.m. Monday, a two-vehicle collision with injuries was reported at the intersection of Centralia College Boulevard and Pearl Street.

 

Attempted Burglary Reported

• At 3:06 p.m. Monday, an attempted burglary was reported in the 100 block of South Tower Avenue. The suspect attempted but failed to gain access to a building.

 

Police Investigate Assault

• At 4:03 p.m. Monday, an assault was reported in the 200 block of South Tower Avenue. The reported assault was among two relatives and took place at a local business, police say, and is under investigation.

 

Thefts

• At 8 p.m. Monday, a theft of a bicycle was reported in the 500 block of South Rock Street.

• At 12:43 a.m. Wednesday, a theft of medication was reported in the 1300 block of Delaware Avenue.

 

Burglary Charges Against Two Referred to Prosecutor

• At 9:08 p.m. Monday, police referred a 43-year-old Centralia woman and a 25-year-old Centralia man to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of second-degree burglary. The two allegedly entered an apartment through a bedroom window to “have relations,” police say. They left when the apartment’s resident came home.

 Trespass Suspect Booked

• At 10:02 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 100 block of South Tower Avenue and arrested Shannon Kilgore, 50, of Centralia on suspicion of multiple counts of first-degree criminal trespass. Kilgore allegedly went to multiple businesses where he had been previously trespassed.

 

Assault Suspect Booked

• At 11:14 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 300 block of North Rock Street and arrested Roberto C. Montes-Reyes, 32, of Centralia on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.

 

Man Leaves Store Without Paying, Implies He Has Gun

• At 1:01 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 1300 block Lum Road, where a man left a business without paying for kitchen items. An employee contacted the man outside the store, and he “made reference to having a gun.”

 

Juvenile Referred for Assault

• At 5:18 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 2500 block of Mt. Vista Road and referred a 14-year-old girl to the prosecutor’s office on suspicion of fourth-degree assault. The girl allegedly assaulted another juvenile.

 

Woman Accused of Stealing Potatoes

• At 10:46 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 500 block of South Tower Avenue and arrested Danielle J. Westbrook, 23, of Tacoma on suspicion of third-degree theft. Westbrook allegedly stole a container of scalloped potatoes.

 

Suspect Booked for Meth Possession

• At 4:05 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to the intersection of First and M streets and arrested Joshua M. Johnson, 30, of Tacoma on suspicion of possession of meth.

Multiple People Seen Huffing

• At 1:06 p.m. Monday, a caller in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue reported seeing five or six people apparently huffing from an aerosol can.

 

Person Harasses Caller’s Son

• At 3:23 p.m. Monday, a caller in the 10 block of Southwest Fourth Street reported a male subject harassing the caller’s son. The person was trying to get the caller’s son to fight.

 

Police Requested to Remove Man

• At 4:04 p.m. Monday, police were requested in the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue to remove a man who had been previously trespassed from the property.

 

Police Investigate Assault Among Children

• At 4:43 p.m. Monday, police responded to the 300 block of Southwest Third Street where a caller reported one child assaulted another.

 

Man in Motorhome Refuses to Leave

• At 1:32 a.m. Tuesday, police were requested in the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue to remove a male living in a motorhome on a business’s property.

 

Theft Suspects Booked

• At 11:26 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and arrested Alexis M. Conway Newton, 21, of Packwood on suspicion of third-degree theft.

• At 5:36 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 900 block of Southwest 21st Street and arrested Christine N. Ghere, 29, of Centralia on suspicion of third-degree theft.

 

Vandal Writes on Vehicle

• At 11:51 a.m. Tuesday, a caller in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue said someone used a permanent marker to write on a vehicle parked in a construction zone.

 

Assault Suspected Booked

• At 1:36 p.m. Tuesday, police responded to the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and arrested Audra L. Dipola, 25, of Chehalis on suspicion of fourth-degree assault — domestic violence.
