Sirens: Motorcyclist Declines Treatment Against Medical Advice; Vehicle Stolen; DUI Arrest

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Forgery

• A forgery reported in the 200 block of Northwest Cascade Avenue just before 10:45 a.m. on Oct. 22 is under investigation.

 

Malicious Mischief

• The driver's side window of a truck in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue was reported broken just before 12:14 p.m. on Oct. 22.

• Just after 12:15 a.m. on Oct. 25, a City of Chehalis employee reported the locks on a gate leading to a city facility at the intersection of Northwest Louisiana Avenue and Northwest Shoreline Drive had been cut.

 

Criminal Trespass

• A subject was cited for trespassing in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue just before 4:40 a.m. on Oct. 23.

 

Assault

• A fourth-degree assault reported in the 300 block of Southwest 16th Street at 2 p.m. on Oct. 23 is under investigation.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 4:05 p.m. on Oct. 23.

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 1700 block of North National Avenue just before 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 23.

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 8:20 p.m. on Oct. 23.

• A hit-and-run was reported in the 600 block of Northeast Franklin Avenue just after 11:55 p.m. on Oct. 23.

 

Crashes

• A motorcyclist suffered a possible broken clavicle following a collision with a car that was reported in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue at 3:50 p.m. on Oct. 24. The motorcyclist was evaluated for injuries at the scene and declined treatment against medical advice. The motorcyclist was additionally cited for driving without a valid license.

• A non-injury vehicle accident reported in the 200 block of Twin Oaks Road just before 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 25 is under investigation.

 



Vehicle Theft

• A vehicle theft reported in the 2100 block of North National Avenue just before 4:05 a.m. on Oct. 25 is under investigation.

 

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft and Burglary

• At approximately 8:25 a.m. on Oct. 23, tool boxes were reported stolen out of the bed of a pickup in the 900 block of North Pearl Street sometime overnight.

• A vehicle and the lock to a storage closet outside a business in the 1300 block of Lum Road were reported damaged at 7:10 a.m. on Oct. 24. The victim did not know whether property was stolen from either the vehicle or the closet.

• A possible shoplift reported in the 100 block of West High Street just after 3:35 p.m. on Oct. 24 is under investigation.

• A subject was arrested in the 400 block of West Magnolia Street just before 5 p.m. on Oct. 24 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly attempting to steal a vehicle.

 

Assault

• A subject was cited for fourth-degree assault in the 400 block of West Main Street just before 1 p.m. on Oct. 23.

• A subject was cited for fourth-degree assault in the 1120 block of Harrison Avenue just before 6:55 p.m. on Oct. 24 after he allegedly tried to inappropriately touch a female victim as she walked down the street.

 

DUI

• Dionicio Miguel Figueroa, 26, of Centralia, was arrested in the 600 block of West Reynolds Avenue at 10:20 p.m. on Oct. 24 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Monday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 148 inmates, including 131 in the general population and 17 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 111 were reported male and 20 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
