CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Lorenzo A. Mauga, 26, Morton, was arrested in the 1900 block of Cooks Hill Road at about 2:26 p.m. Dec. 5 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for an allegedly outstanding Department of Corrections warrant. Mauga was also booked for allegedly escaping community custody and violating a no-contact order.
• Rochelle R. Warren, 60, Chehalis, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 6:24 p.m. Dec. 5 and later released after allegedly stealing items from a local store.
• Amanda C. Reichl, 34, Lacey, was arrested in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road at about 7:12 p.m. Dec. 6 after allegedly providing the identity of a family member in order to gain services from a business. Reichl was later found to have an outstanding felony warrant, according to police.
• Tonnie A. Johnson, 30, Elma, was arrested after allegedly stealing items from a local store in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 8:06 p.m. Dec. 6.
• Tim R. Fredericks Jr., 48, Gig Harbor, was arrested in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 11:27 a.m. Dec. 7 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged third-degree assault. According to police, Fredericks was seen on video surveillance punching a person in the head and kicking them while they were already on the ground.
• An unknown female individual was arrested in the 800 block of South Gold Street at about 8:08 p.m. Dec. 7 after she was involved in a collision and had no means of identification.
Accidents
• A two-vehicle collision occurred at the corner of West Main Street and South Silver Street at about 10:47 a.m. Dec. 5. Police reported no injuries.
• A two-vehicle collision occurred at the corner of South Gold Street and Union Street at about 1:54 p.m. Dec. 5. Police reported minor injuries.
• A two-vehicle collision occurred in the 1100 block of Johnson Road at about 10:07 a.m. Dec. 6. Police reported no injuries.
• A two-vehicle collision occurred at the corner of Johnson Road and Borst Avenue at about 5:25 p.m. Dec. 7.
Assault
• Richard M. James, 71, Centralia, was issued a criminal citation for alleged fourth-degree assault in the 3200 block of Galvin Road at about 1:14 p.m. Dec. 6.
Burglary
• Damage to a window was reported in the 1200 block of South Yew Street at about 3:18 p.m. Dec. 7.
DUI
• Christian A.L. Castillo, 23, Chehalis, was arrested for DUI and possession of a dangerous weapon after he was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol following a collision at the corner of West Main Street and North Pearl Street at about 1:41 a.m. Dec. 6.
Theft
• Alcohol was stolen from a local convenience store in the 600 block of South Tower Avenue at about 10:38 p.m. Dec. 5.
• Items were reportedly stolen from a local store in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 11:20 a.m. Dec. 6.
• Items worth a reported $2,600 were stolen from a local store in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue at about 10:07 a.m Dec. 7. The case is under investigation.
• T-shirts were reportedly stolen from a local store in the 300 block of West Reynolds Avenue at about 12:01 p.m. Dec. 7.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Dec. 5, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 150 inmates, including 137 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 108 were reported male and 29 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Dec. 8, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 18 inmates. Of those, six were from Centralia, three were from the Department of Corrections, one was from Chehalis and one was from Napavine. Additionally, there were two inmates from the Quileute Nation and one each from the Skokomish Tribe, Suquamish Tribe, Shoalwater Bay Tribe, Tulalip Tribe and Lummi Nation.
