CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Jeremiah A. Wrinkle, 37, Centralia, was arrested after an alleged physical altercation with a significant other in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue at about 4:17 p.m. Sept. 17.
• Kristopher J. Richie, 51, Tenino, was arrested after allegedly confronting an individual he believed owed him money and threatening him with a sledgehammer in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at about 7:46 p.m. Sept. 18. A physical altercation allegedly ensued, which resulted in an injury to the victim’s head.
Burglary
• Tools were reported stolen from a residence in the 1300 block of Harrison Avenue at about 5:40 p.m. Sept. 17.
Criminal Trespass
• A transient from Winlock was trespassed from a local business in the 300 block of North Tower Avenue at about 8:51 p.m. Sept. 17.
Hit-and-Run
• A hit-and-run collision was reported at the corner of North Pearl Street and West Maple Street at about 4:37 p.m. Sept. 18. No arrests were made.
Theft
• Theft of services was reported in the 100 block of North Tower Avenue at about 2:57 p.m. Sept. 17.
• An e-bike was reported stolen in the 300 block of East Pine Street at about 9:49 p.m. Sept. 17.
• Theft of items from a local grocery store was reported in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at about 12:53 p.m. Sept. 18.
• Theft of items from a local grocery store was again reported in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue, this time at about 1:10 p.m. Sept. 18.
• Grocery items were reported stolen from a local store in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at about 5:58 p.m. Sept. 18.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Criminal Trespass
• A trespassing was reported in the 200 block of Southwest Lewis Street at about 7:03 a.m. Sept. 17 after a subject allegedly reached in through the doggy door and unlocked the back door to enter the home. The subject allegedly took a red gas can from the garage.
Accidents
• A single-vehicle collision was reported in the 700 block of Northwest Arkansas Way at about 12:31 p.m. Sept. 17. The reporting party stated that they clipped a Tesla charger while driving through the lot by Panda Express.
Theft
• Theft of a phone was reported in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue at about 3:32 p.m. Sept. 16. The theft reportedly occurred around 1 p.m. Staff believed the suspect was female based on the security footage.
• A theft allegedly occurring Sept. 12 was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 3:28 p.m. Sept. 17.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Sept. 19, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 184 inmates, including 171 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 142 were reported male and 29 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
