Sirens: Juvenile accused of providing prescription medications; man arrested for stealing cologne; woman obstructs traffic, resists arrest

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests

• Donald G. Kemrer, 71, San Francisco, California, was transported to the Chehalis Tribal Jail after allegedly stealing cologne from a business in the 1500 block of Lum Road at about 1:59 p.m. Nov. 7.

• Gary Robinson, 26, Tacoma, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for first-degree criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of View Avenue at about 6:19 p.m. Nov. 7 after allegedly entering and remaining unlawfully in a business from which he was previously trespassed.

• Tiffany Hilton, 38, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia at the corner of Harrison Avenue and Johnson Road at about 7:41 p.m. Nov. 7 after she allegedly obstructed traffic, attempted to prevent officers from arresting her and was found with a narcotics smoking device.

• Franklyn Hutchison, 58, Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree criminal trespassing in the 100 block of South Pearl Street at about 1:28 a.m. Nov. 9 after allegedly being found on property where he was previously trespassed.

Accidents

• A hit-and-run was reported at the corner of Johnson Road and West Reynolds Avenue at about 6:29 p.m. Nov. 7. No suspect information was available.

Attempted theft

• Maleia Stewart, 49, Raymond, was arrested and released for third-degree attempted theft in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 6:24 p.m. Nov. 8 after allegedly shoplifting several items from a local business.

Child abuse

• Officers investigated a report of child abuse on Logan Street at about 9:22 a.m. Nov. 7. No other information was available at the time.

Criminal trespassing

• A transient male from Tacoma was notified that he was trespassed from a business in the 1100 block of View Avenue at about 11:16 a.m. Nov. 7 after he allegedly made a mess and refused to leave when asked by staff.

• Jayson Cornwell, 26, Oakville, was arrested and issued a criminal citation for first-degree criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 7:25 p.m. Nov. 7 after allegedly refusing to leave a local business and causing a physical disturbance.

• Derk Singleton, 45, Centralia, was arrested and issued a criminal citation for first-degree criminal trespassing in the 200 block of Centralia College Boulevard at about 1:24 a.m. Nov. 8 after allegedly entering and remaining unlawfully in a business where he had previously been trespassed.

Disorderly conduct

• Two transients were trespassed from a business in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 1:50 p.m. Nov. 7 after allegedly becoming belligerent with staff and refusing to leave when asked.

Malicious mischief



• Officers received a report of vandalism to the window of a business in the 200 block of Centralia College Boulevard at about 9:44 a.m. Nov. 8. The case is under investigation.

Theft

• A reported theft occurred in the 300 block of West Reynolds Avenue at about 9:58 p.m. Nov. 7. No suspect information was available.

• Elisabeth Phares, 30, Centralia, was arrested and released for third-degree theft in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 7:14 p.m. Nov. 8 after allegedly shoplifting from a local business.

• A reported theft from a local business occurred in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 8:51 p.m. Nov. 8. The case is under investigation.

• A reported theft from a local business occurred in the 1000 block of Harrison Avenue at about 10:50 p.m. Nov. 8.

• A male was booked into the Lewis County Jail as “John Doe” after he was arrested for third-degree theft and allegedly refused to provide his identity in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 5:09 p.m. Nov. 9. He will be booked under his true identity after fingerprinting.

Juvenile referred for charges

• A juvenile was referred for criminal charges in the 900 block of Johnson Road at about 10:10 a.m. Nov. 7 after she allegedly provided prescription medications to another juvenile.

Violation drug paraphernalia

• Carson D. Pendleton, 28, Centralia, and Konner J.M. Prue Garcilazo, 19, Chehalis, were arrested and issued criminal citations for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia in the 900 block of South Scheuber Road at about 8:27 a.m. Nov. 8.

• Zachary S. Cline, 32, Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail on an outstanding Chehalis Municipal Court warrant in the 1300 block of Delaware Avenue at about 8:45 a.m. Nov. 9. Cline was allegedly found in possession of drug paraphernalia and was issued a criminal citation for the offense.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Chehalis Police Department has not yet released its most recent call reports. Look for updated information in an upcoming edition of The Chronicle and at chronline.com when the reports are made available.

JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Nov. 10, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 170 inmates, including 157 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 127 were reported male and 30 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.

• As of Nov. 10, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 22 inmates. Of those, six were from Centralia, five were from the Department of Corrections and one was from Napavine. Additionally, there were three inmates from the Lummi Nation, two from the Quileute Nation, two from the Tulalip Tribe and one each from the Suquamish, Skokomish and Shoalwater Bay Tribes.
