CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Rickey W. Mahaney, 46, Centralia, was arrested in the 1700 block of North National Avenue at about 9 a.m. Jan. 19 for alleged third-degree malicious mischief and two outstanding warrants from Centralia Municipal Court. Mahaney was subsequently booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail. Police reported that a citizen tip led to Mahaney’s discovery and apprehension.
• Darrin N. Rice, 27, Winlock, was arrested in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue at about 1:08 p.m. Jan. 19 and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.
• Elizabeth K. Pippin, 56, Roy, was reportedly arrested at 118 W. Maple St. at about 2:29 p.m. Jan. 19 and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.
• Angela A. Harris, 42, Centralia, was arrested in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 3:16 p.m. Jan. 19 and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for allegedly driving on a suspended license, driving under the influence of alcohol and causing reckless endangerment.
• Nielia G. McConnell, 31, Tacoma, was arrested in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue at about 6:05 p.m. Jan. 20 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged criminal impersonation. McConnell was also referred for alleged unlawful possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia. During a traffic stop prior to her arrest, K9 Havik reportedly alerted to the odor of narcotics.
Felony harassment
• A 17-year-old juvenile female was arrested in the 1200 block of Delaware Avenue at about 11:03 a.m. Jan. 20 and booked into Lewis County Juvenile Detention on charges of alleged felony harassment, resisting arrest and minor in possession of cannabis. The harassment charge allegedly stems from online threats made by the juvenile to another citizen.
Hit-and-run
• Shane W. Cheever, 53, Oakville, was referred to the Centralia prosecuting attorney for an alleged hit-and-run at the corner of Reynolds Avenue and Johnson Road at about 6:35 p.m. Jan. 19.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Heather K. Roberts, 38, Sumner, was issued a criminal citation for alleged use of drug paraphernalia in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue at about 6:05 p.m. Jan. 20.

JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Jan. 21, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 176 inmates, including 163 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 127 were reported male and 36 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Jan. 21, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 12 inmates. Of those, five were from Centralia, one was from Elma and two were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there was one each from the Quileute Nation, the Suquamish Tribe, the Tulalip Tribe and the Chehalis Tribe.
