CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Junior Jordan, 21, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged harassment (domestic violence) and third-degree theft (domestic violence) after allegedly making threats of physical harm and stealing a surveillance camera of a household/family member in the 100 block of South Buckner Street at about 8:32 a.m. July 3.
• Ronan L. Whiteplume, 42, Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail on an outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrant and for alleged second-degree reckless burning. Officers contacted Whiteplume in the 800 block of Elm Street at about 10:36 p.m. July 3 as he was walking along the roadway. The officers reportedly discovered that Whiteplume had lit a piece of cloth on fire and thrown it into the roadway.
• Ashley Almanza Campos, 31, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged first-degree criminal trespass in the 100 block of South Tower Avenue at about 1:08 a.m. July 4. Police said Almanza Campos had been notified she was being trespassed from a business and allegedly returned to the business to yell at staff and customers. Almanza Campos was also booked for allegedly resisting arrest after being handcuffed.
Fire
• Patrol officers assisted the Riverside Fire Authority with a small brush fire near a local business in the 100 block of West High Street at about 1:54 p.m. July 4.
• Officers responded to a firework accident that caused minor injury to two people and started a small brush fire in the 1400 block of Delaware Avenue at about 9:50 p.m. July 4. Officers reportedly helped put out the fire.
• Officers responded to a reported small fire in the 500 block of South Yew Street at about 11:42 p.m. July 4. Police found that someone had disposed of spent fireworks in their outdoor trash bin, which caused the bin to ignite. The fire spread to their fence before a citizen put it out with the homeowner’s garden hose.
• A patrol officer noticed a small brush fire near a house in the 700 block of H Street at about 12:59 a.m. July 5. The fire was caused by spent fireworks placed in a trash bin. The officer extinguished the fire before it spread and notified the homeowners.
Drug violation
• Sarah Brown, 34, Tenino, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged possession of a controlled substance and littering greater than 1 cubic foot in the 100 block of West Pine Street at about 9:34 a.m. July 4. Police said Brown allegedly spread a large amount of garbage from a metal garbage container and possessed suspected methamphetamine.
Liquor violation
• A 37-year-old Centralia man was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly drinking malt liquor in public in the 700 block of Harrison Avenue at about 9 a.m. July 4.
Order violation
• A protection order violation was reported in the 700 block of South Pearl Street at about 6:16 p.m. July 5. The case is under investigation.
Theft
• An unattended wallet was reported stolen in the 200 block of North Tower Avenue at about 1:59 a.m. July 4. The victim reported that his debit card had been used, and $45 had been stolen from his account. The case is under investigation.
Trespass
• A subject was trespassed from private property in the 300 block of North Rock Street at about 7:26 p.m. July 5.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Adrienne E. Chester, 33, was booked into jail for one count of alleged harassment in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue at about 8:29 a.m. July 1.
• Travis Myers, 40, was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged harassment/threats to kill and fourth-degree assault in the 200 block of Southwest Second Street at about 4:13 p.m. July 1.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of July 6, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 135 inmates, including 122 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 105 were reported male and 17 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of July 6, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 15 inmates. Of those, four were from Centralia, one was from Chehalis, one was from Elma and three were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were three from the Lummi Nation and one each from the Quileute Nation, the Shoalwater Bay Tribe and the Skokomish Tribe.
