Sirens; Fentanyl found during traffic stop; man arrested after filming employees in off-limits area; Centralia man wanted for harassment

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests

• Darryl A. Winslow Jr., 35, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for allegedly driving under the influence in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 12:22 p.m. May 6. According to police, officers contacted Winslow during a traffic stop and believed he was under the influence of narcotics. Police allegedly found suspected fentanyl in his possession during a search. Winslow faces additional potential charges of possession of a controlled substance and third-degree driving with a suspended or revoked license.

• Miah Muffly, 26, Centralia, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Yew Street just after midnight on May 7 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged second-degree criminal trespass and obstructing a law enforcement officer. According to police, Muffly was arrested after allegedly going into off-limit areas of a local business and filming employees, as well as walking away from lawful detention by a Centralia officer.

• James C. Tryon, 51, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged violation of a no-contact order in the 1400 block of Johnson Road at about 11:25 a.m. May 7.

Hit-and-run

• Officers received a hit-and-run report near the corner of West First Street and North Pearl Street at about 2:50 p.m. May 6. The case is under investigation.

Order violation

• Centralia police established probable cause to arrest Jerimy J. Trudeau, 43, Centralia, for violation of an anti-harassment order, after he allegedly came into close proximity with the order’s petitioner. Officers are reportedly attempting to locate and arrest Trudeau.

Theft

• A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 600 block of North Gold Street at about 3:38 p.m. May 6. No further information was known at the time.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests and citations



• Thomas L. Marth was issued a criminal citation for an alleged drug paraphernalia violation in the 100 block of Northeast Hampe Way at about 10:06 a.m. April 30.

• Eric M. Messal was booked into jail on a felony warrant at about 2:58 p.m. May 6. He was issued criminal citations for possession of dangerous weapons, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Stacy D. Senter was booked into jail for criminal trespassing and drug paraphernalia after a caller in the 400 block of North Market Boulevard reported someone was crawling around a roof at about 8:40 p.m. May 7.

• Three men were cited for first-degree criminal trespassing at about 11:58 p.m. in the 1100 block of Northwest Shoreline Drive. A fourth man was cited for second-degree criminal trespassing.

DUI

• William S. Crumholtz was issued a criminal citation for allegedly driving under the influence near the corner of North Market Boulevard and West Main Street at about 11:48 p.m. April 30.

Theft

• A license plate was reported stolen from a truck in the 300 block of Southwest Third Street at about 9:58 p.m. April 30.

JAIL STATISTICS

• As of May 8, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 132 inmates, including 119 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 104 were reported male and 15 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.

• As of May 7, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 27 inmates. Of those, 11 were from Centralia, one was from Elma and 12 were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there was one each from the Quileute Nation, the Shoalwater Bay Tribe and the Chehalis Tribe.
