CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Assault
• An assault was reported in the 900 block of Long Road at about 3:54 p.m. Oct. 23. The case is under investigation.
DUI
• Ricky D. Henson, 59, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue at about 5 p.m. Oct. 23.
Harassment
• A report of threats of violence over digital communications was made in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 6:22 p.m. Oct. 23. No suspect information was available.
Malicious mischief
• A residence in the 100 block of North Buckner Street was reportedly egged and had fireworks launched toward it at about 1:57 a.m. Oct. 24. The case is under investigation.
Theft
• Bicycle theft was reported in the 1100 block of South Silver Street at about 7:43 p.m. Oct. 22. The case is under investigation.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Accidents
• A vehicle accident with injuries was reported in the 600 block of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way at about 8:51 a.m. Oct. 21. Advanced life support was reportedly requested.
• A two-vehicle accident with injuries — and blocking the intersection — was reported at the corner of Southwest Snively Avenue and Southwest 19th Street at about 5:09 p.m. Oct. 21.
• A hit-and-run reportedly occurred at the corner of Northwest Chamber of Commerce Way and Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 6:44 p.m. Oct. 22.
Criminal trespassing
• Todd A. Bourassa, 56, Waterford, Michigan, was reportedly issued a citation for second-degree criminal trespassing in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 6:52 p.m. Oct. 22.
Theft
• Adrien J. Bigelow, 32, Port Orchard, was recommended to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office for one count of second-degree theft after he allegedly attempted to steal a cart full of tools in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 3:15 p.m. Oct. 21.
• Theft was reported in the 600 block of Northwest St. Helens Avenue at about 1:36 p.m. Oct. 22. No arrests were made.
• Theft was reported in the 200 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue at about 6:45 p.m. Oct. 22. The reporting party advised that someone had stolen a tire and rim from his vehicle.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Oct. 23, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 181 inmates, including 167 in the general population and 14 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 136 were reported male and 31 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 12 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Oct. 24, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 27 inmates. Of those, 11 were from Centralia, one was from Elma, one was from Napavine, and four were from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were four inmates from the Lummi Nation, two from the Quileute Nation, two from the Tulalip Tribe and one each from the Skokomish and Suquamish Tribes.
