Sirens: DUI Arrest; Firearm Stolen From Vehicle; Honda Stolen; Arrests for Assault

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

DUI

• Mark V. Schott, 28, of Issaquah, was arrested in the 210 block of Harrison Avenue at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 20 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence.

 

Crash

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported at the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Galvin Road just after 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 20.

 

Vehicle Prowl

• A subject was arrested in the 900 block of South Pearl Street just before 4:45 p.m. on Oct. 20 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged vehicle prowl.

• A firearm was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1000 block of South Pearl Street at 6:05 p.m. on Oct. 20.

 

Other Theft

• A 2010 silver Honda Insight with a Washington license plate reading BYL6740 was reported stolen from the 700 block of North Tower Avenue at 12:20 p.m. on Oct. 21. The vehicle was described as having dents in both front fenders and a coffee chain's sticker in the middle of the back window.

• Items were reported stolen from a business in the 1300 block of Lum Road at approximately 3:45 p.m. The female suspect reportedly fled on foot before getting into a white BMW with no license plates.

• A vehicle was reported stolen and later recovered in the 100 block of West High Street just before 7:50 p.m. on Oct. 21.

 

Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

• Two subjects were arrested in the 200 block of Jackson Street just after 6:10 p.m. on Oct. 22 and were booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged possession of a stolen vehicle.

 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Theft

• A vehicle was reported stolen from the 2100 block of North National Avenue just before 9 a.m. on Oct. 20 after a subject failed to return a rental vehicle.

• A third-degree theft reported in the 1600 block of North National Avenue at approximately 6:05 p.m. on Oct. 20 is under investigation.



• A third-degree theft was reported in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before 3 p.m. on Oct. 21.

• A motor was reported stolen from a boat in the 800 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue just before 4:05 p.m. on Oct. 21.

• A case of counterfeiting reported in the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 6 p.m. on Oct. 21 is under investigation.

• A second-degree theft reported in the 10 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue just after 6:40 p.m. on Oct. 21 is under investigation.

 

Assault

• A subject was arrested in the 100 block of Southwest Interstate Avenue just before 10 a.m. on Oct. 21 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault.

• A subject was arrested in the 2100 block of Southwest Olympic Drive just before 10:20 a.m. on Oct. 21 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault.

• A fourth-degree assault reported in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard just after 7:50 p.m. on Oct. 21 is under investigation.

 

Crash

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported in the 700 block of Southwest Chehalis Avenue at approximately 1:05 p.m. on Oct. 21.

 

Under Investigation 

• A family disturbance/dispute reported in the 1000 block of Southwest Washington Avenue at 6:20 p.m. on Oct. 21 is under investigation.

• A case of disorderly conduct reported in the 500 block of South Market Boulevard at approximately 7:10 p.m. on Oct. 21 is under investigation.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 141 inmates, including 124 in the general population and 17 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 107 were reported male and 17 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
