Sirens: Disorderly Conduct; Harassment; Organized Retail Theft

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT 

Organized Retail Theft 

• Three suspects — Dwayzsha L. Cantley, 27, of Olympia; Kaleb A. Reanier, 27, of Lacey; and Robert E. Rogers, 28, of Tumwater —  were arrested after they allegedly stole more than $4,000 in merchandise from outlets in the 1400 block of Lum Road at 5:10 p.m. on Aug. 29. K9 Pax was called in to help with the search after officers learned one of the suspects was possibly armed. The suspects were located hiding behind the outlets and K9 Pax located a stolen firearm inside a suspect’s fanny pack, according to the Centralia Police Department. The suspects were each charged with organized retail theft in Lewis County Superior Court on Tuesday. Possible possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a stolen firearm charges were referred to the prosecutor’s office.

Cellphone Theft 

• A cellphone was reported stolen from the 100 block of North Gold Street just after 8:05 p.m. on Aug. 29. The case is under investigation. 

• Three cellphones were reported stolen from the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue at 9:50 p.m. on Aug. 30. The suspect fled on foot before officers arrived. 

Other Theft 

• A 2002 BMW was reported stolen from the 1700 block of Harrison Avenue just before 8:15 p.m. on Aug. 29. 

• A kayak was reported stolen from the 700 block of Harrison Avenue at approximately 1:45 a.m. on Aug. 30. 

• A bicycle was reported stolen from the 100 block of East Sixth Street just before 9:20 a.m. on Aug. 30. 

• A theft was reported at a business in the 1100 block of View Avenue just before 11:20 a.m. on Aug. 30. 

• Personal property was reported stolen from several unoccupied vehicles in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue at 5:35 p.m. on Aug. 30. 

Trespassing 

• A woman was trespassed from a business in the 300 block of Harrison Avenue at 10:45 a.m. on Aug. 30. 

Assault 

• A Centralia woman was cited for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at 1:05 p.m. on Aug. 30. 

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT 

Burglary 

• Just after 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 29, a burglary that occurred in the 1200 block of Northwest Maryland Avenue sometime after noon the day prior was reported. 

• An attempted burglary was reported in the 700 block of South Market Boulevard just before 9 a.m. on Aug. 29. 

• Just after 11:35 a.m. on Aug. 30, a burglary to a business in the 800 block of South Market Boulevard that occurred sometime within the last couple of days was reported. 

Vehicle Theft 

• A 1998 white Ford F250 was reported stolen from the 200 block of South Market Boulevard just before 11:45 a.m. on Aug. 29. 

• A gray 2010 Nissan Sedan with a broken passenger window was reported stolen from the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at approximately 9:10 p.m. on Aug. 30. 



Other Theft

• A second-degree theft was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just before 2:55 p.m. on Aug. 29. 

• A generator was reported stolen from the 1300 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 3:20 p.m. on Aug. 29. 

• A third-degree theft reported in the 1000 block of Northwest Maryland Avenue at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Aug. 29 is under investigation. 

• A subject was cited for shoplifting in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 29. 

• A third-degree theft reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at 7:35 p.m. on Aug. 30 is under investigation. 

Assault 

• A fourth-degree assault reported in the 300 block of West Main Street at 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 29 is under investigation. 

Harassment 

• A case of possible harassment was reported in the 300 block of West Main Street just after 1 p.m. on Aug. 29. 

Disorderly Conduct 

• An intoxicated man with an open container of alcohol was reported walking around the softball fields in the 200 block of Southwest 13th Street at 5:20 p.m. on Aug. 29. No arrests were made. 

• Just after 3 p.m. on Aug. 30, a caller reported that “a disgruntled ex-employee” of a business in the 600 block of Northwest Arkansas Way was caught on camera “taping a note” to the caller. The ex-employee was trespassed from the business. 

Vehicle Accidents 

• A non-injury, single-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Southwest 13th Street and Southwest Parkland Drive just after 6:55 p.m. on Aug. 29. The vehicle reportedly “blew through a sign.” 

• Minor injuries were reported after a vehicle crashed into a construction site in the 600 block of Northwest Arkansas Way just after 9:40 p.m. on Aug. 30. 

Malicious Mischief 

• A case of third-degree malicious mischief reported in the 300 block of Northwest Chehalis Avenue at 7:45 a.m. on Aug. 30 is under investigation. 

• A case of third-degree malicious mischief reported in the 1200 block of South Market Boulevard just after 6:40 a.m. on Aug. 31 is under investigation. 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS 

As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 176 inmates, including 158 in the general population and 18 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 130 were reported male and 28 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 15 were reported male and three were reported female.
