Sirens: Defendants sentenced for theft of gas, assault with deadly weapon, assault of child and more; money stolen via ATM, spent at casino; DUI arrests

LEWIS COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT

Sentencings

• Wellington M. Waggener, 36, Tacoma, was sentenced Nov. 12 to 364 days in jail with 350 days suspended for two years and 14 days of credit for time served after pleading guilty to one count of third-degree malicious mischief constituting domestic violence. • Abigail D. Rovario, 25, Winlock, was sentenced Nov. 12 to 30 days in jail with 12 days of credit for time served and 12 months of community custody after pleading guilty to two counts of third-degree assault of a child constituting domestic violence. As part of her sentence, Rovario must undergo evaluation and treatment for domestic violence and participate in parenting classes, among other orders. • Steven Ray Largent, 31, Mossyrock, was sentenced Nov. 19 to roughly two and a half years in prison and two and a half years of community custody as part of a prison-based drug offender sentencing alternative (DOSA) after pleading guilty to four counts of second-degree burglary. Four additional burglary counts were dismissed. Largent was previously accused of unlawfully entering White Pass Junior Senior High School in Randle to steal gasoline. • Jarrod R. Phillipi, 35, Centralia, was sentenced Nov. 19 to two and a half years in prison and two and a half years of community custody as part of a prison-based drug offender sentencing alternative (DOSA) after pleading guilty to two counts of violating a protection order and one count each of third-degree assault and fourth-degree assault, all constituting domestic violence. • Fidel Hernandez Isidro, 36, Grand Mound, was sentenced Nov. 19 to 17 months in prison and 18 months of community custody after pleading guilty to one count each of residential burglary, second-degree assault with a deadly weapon and second-degree assault inflicting substantial bodily harm. • Rochelle Lee Schneberger, 42, Olympia, was sentenced Nov. 19 to 15 days in local jail with 15 days of credit for time served after pleading guilty to one count of first-degree criminal impersonation. An additional count of forgery was dismissed. Schneberger was previously accused of partaking in a scheme to obtain medical records using false documents. CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests

• Taylor K. Park, 34, Centralia, was arrested in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 12:43 p.m. Nov. 29 after allegedly stealing items from a local store.

• Javier Lopez-Esteves, 36, Olympia, was arrested in the 1600 block of South Gold Street and booked into the Lewis County Jail on Nov. 29 for alleged first-degree criminal impersonation, according to the Centralia Police Department.

• Eliezer J. Reinozo-Colmenarez, 35, Centralia, was arrested during a traffic stop at the corner of State Street East and Pacific Avenue at about 11:26 p.m. Nov. 29 after he allegedly violated a court-issued no contact order.

• Daniel V. Marks, 42, Morton, was arrested in the 200 block of Latona Street at about 8:20 a.m. Nov. 30 and booked into the Lewis County Jail for second-degree theft and second-degree possession of stolen property after officers allegedly found that Marks had stolen payment cards from a subject, withdrew money from an ATM, and went to two casinos. The cards were reportedly returned to the owner.

Accidents

• A hit-and-run collision was reported in the 100 block of West High Street at about 1:55 p.m. Nov. 28. The case is under investigation.

• Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at the corner of South Pearl Street and West Main Street at about 5:29 p.m. Nov. 28.

• A two-vehicle collision was reported in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue at about 8:24 p.m. Nov. 29.

Criminal trespassing

• A female transient was trespassed from a business in the 200 block of Centralia College Boulevard at about 3:13 p.m. Nov. 30.

DUI



• Forest E. Cumbess, 33, Oregon, was arrested near southbound Exit 77 off Interstate 5 at about 7:49 p.m. Nov. 28 for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol.

• Jorge D. Gonzalez, 53, Centralia, was arrested after a routine traffic stop at the corner of East Sixth Street and North Tower Avenue at about 3:05 a.m. Dec. 1 and booked in the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Harassment

• Officers responded to a report of threats being made in the 2800 block of Russell Road at about 6:16 p.m. Nov. 30. The case is under investigation.

Malicious mischief

• Graffiti to a building was reported in the 200 block of South Tower Avenue at about 9:03 p.m. Nov. 29.

Marijuana violation

• Jose O. Cuellar-Cortez, 19, Centralia, was arrested for an alleged marijuana possession violation in the 100 block of Pioneer Way at about 10:10 p.m. Nov. 28.

Sexual misconduct

• An alleged sexual assault was reported in the 700 block of H Street at about 7:42 a.m. Nov. 30. The case is under investigation.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Chehalis Police Department has not yet released its most recent call reports. Look for updated information in an upcoming edition of The Chronicle and at chronline.com when the reports are made available.

JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Dec. 1, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 165 inmates, including 152 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 119 were reported male and 33 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.

• As of Dec. 1, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 22 inmates. Of those, 12 were from Centralia, three were from the Department of Corrections and one was from Napavine. Additionally, there were two inmates from the Quileute Nation and one each from the Suquamish Tribe, Shoalwater Bay Tribe, Tulalip Tribe and Lummi Nation.
