CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Arrests

• Elton Hoard, 48, Tacoma, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail on charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and unlawful possession of a firearm in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue at about 1:16 p.m. Oct. 15.

• Teresa L. Leys, 56, Centralia, was arrested and booked for allegedly trespassing in the 100 block of South Silver Street at about 9:23 a.m. Oct. 16.

• Christina A. Dukes, 37, Centralia, was arrested and booked for alleged fourth-degree assault in the 300 block of North Gold Street at about 4:07 p.m. Oct. 16.

• Shanon N. Schwiesow, 27, Rochester, was arrested and booked for alleged third-degree theft in the 1000 block of South Yew Street at about 8:51 p.m. Oct. 16.

Assault

• A Centralia minor was referred to the Lewis County Prosecutor’s Office for third-degree theft, minor in possession and third-degree assault in the 300 block of West Reynolds Avenue at about 10:25 a.m. Oct. 16.

Criminal trespassing

• A woman was trespassed from private property in the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue at about 7:46 a.m. Oct. 16.

Nuisance

• Derk J. Singleton, 45, Centralia, was arrested and released for allegedly camping on city property (second offense) in the 700 block of North Tower Avenue at about 3:04 a.m. Oct. 17.



Protection order violation

• A protection order violation was reported in the 1000 block of Eckerson Road at about 1:45 p.m. Oct. 15. The case is under investigation.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Accidents

• A two-vehicle blocking collision without injuries was reported in the 1700 block of Northwest  Louisiana Avenue at about 5:02 p.m. Oct. 15.

JAIL STATISTICS

• As of Oct. 17, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 183 inmates, including 170 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 140 were reported male and 30 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
