Vehicle prowl
• Property was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of K Street at 9:25 a.m. on Feb. 10.
Theft
• Shoplifting was reported at a business in the 1100 block of Johnson Road just after 11:40 a.m. on Feb. 10.
Abandoned vehicle
• At approximately 12:45 p.m. on Feb. 10, officers received a report of a boat and a trailer that had been illegally dumped at the intersection of North Rock and West Main streets. The case is under investigation.
Public assist
• At 3:05 p.m. on Feb. 10, officers helped a citizen by unlocking the door to their vehicle after they locked their keys inside in the 200 block of West Maple Street.
Criminal trespass
• Just after 10:20 p.m. on Feb. 10, a business in the 100 block of West Main Street reported that a male “was about to defecate near their parking area.” The man was trespassed from the business.
DUI
• A 53-year-old Chehalis man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop at the intersection of South Cedar and West Main streets just after 1:50 a.m. on Feb. 11.
Malicious mischief
• A 47-year-old Olympia man and a 35-year-old Seattle man were arrested for first-degree malicious mischief after they allegedly vandalized railroad cars in the 200 block of North Railroad Avenue just after 3:40 p.m. on Feb. 11.

Disorderly conduct
• A disorderly man who was under the influence of meth was reportedly yelling at his wife in the 1000 block of Northwest Prindle Street just after 10:05 a.m. on Feb. 10.
• A woman was reportedly yelling across the street at someone in the 600 block of South Market Boulevard just before 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 10.
• A woman was reportedly screaming at nothing, saying that someone was following her and hitting a building with a stick in the 200 block of West Main Street at 4:35 a.m. on Feb. 11.
Fraud
• A counterfeit $100 bill was reported at a business in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard just after 1:40 p.m. on Feb. 10.
• A counterfeit $100 bill was reported at a business in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard at 5:35 p.m. on Feb. 11.
Dispute
• A juvenile called to report his mom and his estranged dad were arguing in the 1500 block of Southwest Kelly Avenue just before 6:20 p.m. on Feb. 10. The dad reportedly had a knife on his person. No assault was reported.
Vehicle accidents
• At 9:50 a.m. on Feb. 11, a non-injury, two-vehicle collision that occurred on private property in the 500 block of West Main Street on Feb. 8 was reported.
• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision was reported in the 800 block of North National Avenue just after 5:55 p.m. on Feb. 11.
Theft
• Just after 2:10 p.m. on Feb. 11, a third-degree theft that occurred in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue on Feb. 9 was reported.
Suspicious circumstances
• A woman in a vehicle with a gun in her lap was reported in the 1700 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 4:20 a.m. on Feb. 12.
FIRE AND EMS CALLS
• Between Monday morning and Wednesday morning, Lewis County 911 Communications logged approximately 66 illness-related calls, 12 injury-related calls, 15 fire-related calls, 10 non-emergency service calls, one vehicle accident, one Lifeline medical alert, one overdose and four other calls.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Wednesday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 152 inmates, including 139 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 109 were reported male and 30 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Wednesday morning, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total system population of 18 inmates, including two booked by the Centralia Police Department, 13 booked by the state Department of Corrections, one booked by the Tulalip Tribe and two booked by the Lummi Nation.
