Accidents
• A two-vehicle collision occurred at the corner of Ellsbury Street and Mellen Street at about 12:09 p.m. Dec. 2. No injuries were reported.
Burglary
• A burglary involving the theft of a laptop was reported in the 2500 block of West Reynolds Avenue at about 8:25 a.m. Dec. 1.
Drug violation
• Danica A. Nikolich, 45, Centralia, was arrested at the corner of West Hanson Street and North Iron Street at about 6:16 a.m. Dec. 1 and issued criminal citations for possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia after she was allegedly found with drug materials in plain view while inside a vehicle.
DUI
• Edgar Nolasco Montejo, 21, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail after he was allegedly found to be under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs while operating a motor vehicle at the corner of South Pearl Street and West Plum Street at about 11:56 p.m. Dec. 2.
Malicious mischief
• A vehicle was reported damaged in the 100 block of North Tower Avenue at about 12:46 p.m. Dec. 1, resulting in an estimated repair cost of over $1,000.
• A small electric vehicle was damaged after someone stole the batteries and cut the electrical cables in the 1900 block of South Gold Street at about 7:38 a.m. Dec. 2.
Theft
• Officers responded to a reported theft in the 2800 block of Russell Road at about 9:05 p.m. Dec. 1. The case is under investigation.

Accidents
• A two-vehicle, partially blocking collision occurred at the corner of Northeast Washington Avenue and Northeast Boistfort Street at about 2:06 p.m. Nov. 30.
Criminal trespassing
• Teresa L. Leys, 56, Centralia, was charged with one count of alleged second-degree criminal trespassing in the 2000 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue at about 1:12 a.m. Nov. 30.
Malicious mischief
• Chrystal R. Taylor, 42, Rochester, was arrested in the 400 block of North Market Boulevard at about 10:11 p.m. Nov. 30 for alleged third-degree malicious mischief constituting domestic violence.
Theft
• Brandon M. Cochran, 29, Chehalis, was cited for third-degree theft in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 9:13 a.m. Nov. 28 after allegedly shoplifting.
• Teresa L. Leys, 56, Centralia, was cited for alleged third-degree theft in the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 4:22 p.m. Nov. 29.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Dec. 3, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 163 inmates, including 150 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 119 were reported male and 31 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Dec. 3, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 17 inmates. Of those, six were from Centralia, one was from Chehalis, one was from Napavine and one was from the Department of Corrections. Additionally, there were two inmates from the Quileute Nation, two from the Skokomish Tribe and one each from the Suquamish Tribe, Shoalwater Bay Tribe, Tulalip Tribe and Lummi Nation.
