CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Johnathan D. Wilson, 31, of Centralia, was arrested at about 10:33 p.m. on July 9 and booked for alleged violation of no-contact order in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue.
• Nathan G. Kloecker, 39, of Centralia, was arrested at around 2:07 p.m. on July 9 and booked for alleged possession of a controlled substance in the 200 block of West Main Street.
• Hugo Walther, 56, of Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail at about 4:51 p.m. July 9 for third-degree assault after allegedly assaulting a Centralia Police Department Officer during an investigation of harassment in the 900 block of North Washington Avenue.
• Delfino Rodriguez-Garcia, 49, of Centralia, was arrested at around 7:10 p.m., July 8, for driving with a suspended license in the 2400 block of Reynolds Avenue and driving without an ignition interlock device as required.
• Officers responded to a domestic violence dispute at about 10:30 p.m. July 10 in the 1300 block of Rose Street that was initially reported to have a firearm involved. Officers investigated and discovered a firearm was not involved, a news release from Centralia Police Department stated. Angela A. Harris, 42, of Lynden, was arrested and booked for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, and making a false statement to a public servant.
Vehicle Collision
• A single-motorcycle collision occurred in the 1200 block of Mellon Street at about 1:09 p.m. July 8. Minor injuries were reported.
Theft
• A resident in the 100 block of South Silver Street reported their belongings were stolen and her credit card was being used at about 3:17 p.m. July 8. This case is still under investigation, according to a news release from the Centralia Police Department.
• Shoes and bags were stolen from a local store in the 1300 block of Lum Road, at around 5:16 p.m. July 8.
• Several Yeti coolers were stolen from a local store at about 5:55 p.m. July 8 in the 1600 block of Harrison Avenue. This case remains under investigation.
Trespass
• A transient male was trespassed from private property in the 300 block of North Gold Street, at around 11:07 p.m. July 8.
Missing Person Located
• Officers received multiple reports of a juvenile crouched down on a moving train at around 6:14 a.m. July 9. By the time the officers located the incident at the intersection of North Pearl Street and West Fifth Street, the juvenile was running around on top of the train. Officers were made aware that the subject was possibly a missing autistic juvenile from Cowlitz County. The juvenile was contacted and safely brought down prior to being returned to his parents.
Assault
• Officers responded to a dispute in the 500 block of Harrison Avenue involving a firearm at around 4:53 p.m. July 10. No arrests were made.
Indecent Exposure
• Elise C Wray, 38, of Centralia was arrested and released for indecent exposure at about 10:13 p.m. July 10, in the 200 block of Latona Street.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Michael A. Wells, 25, of Cinebar, was booked into the Lewis County Jail for one count of harassment and one count of fourth-degree assault and domestic violence after a call came in at around 9:34 a.m. July 7 reporting that he may have a box knife on his person in the 100 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue.
• Salvador Cruz, 61, of Everett, was arrested for one count of third-degree driving under the influence and driving in violation of ignition interlock at the intersection of Northwest State Avenue and Northwest Geary Street at around 1:16 a.m. July 8.
• Nicholas A. Doyle, 45, was arrested and booked into jail for one count of second-degree criminal trespass as well as obstruction after a caller reported him trespassing in the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard and being aggressive with a manager at about 10:26 p.m. July 9.
• David D. Stumph, 24, of Chehalis, was transported to the Lewis County Jail for one count of third-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence, and one count of fourth-degree assault, domestic violence, after reportedly throwing a phone and hitting a resident in the back while intoxicated.
Theft
• A theft was reported in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue at about 8:31 a.m. July 7. The caller stated they had a video of the theft.
• Attempted shoplifting occurred in the 1700 block of North National Avenue at around 1:33 p.m. July 7. The shoplifter was stopped, but refused to leave the property, according to a news release from the Chehalis Police Department
• The theft of a white utility trailer was reported at 2:30 p.m. July 7 in the 1200 block of Northwest State Avenue. The caller said the theft occurred sometime between Friday and Sunday.
Vehicle Collision
• A two-vehicle collision occurred at the corner of Interstate Avenue and Bishop Road at about 8:12 a.m. July 8. The collision did not block traffic, and no one was injured.
• A resident reported hitting a deer in the 2000 block of Northeast Kresky Avenue at around 11:42 p.m. July 8.
Suspicious Person
• A caller reported a suspicious person on a bicycle who looked to be siphoning gas from a vehicle in the 1500 block of Rice Road at around 2:52 p.m. July 9.
JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 191 inmates, including 176 in the general population and 15 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of general population inmates, 147 were reported male and 29 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 12 were reported male and three were reported female.
