CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Arrests
• Robert Combs-Cripps, 26, Olympia, was arrested after allegedly assaulting another individual in the 3500 block of Steelhammer Drive at about 11:54 a.m. April 8.
• Sergio Martinez Meza, 39, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) in the 100 block of Jalyn Street at about 10:05 p.m. April 8.
• Anthony N. Rogers, 29, Tacoma, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for identity theft in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue at about 4:35 p.m. April 9 after he allegedly provided someone else’s name during a traffic stop to avoid knowledge of his felony warrants.
• Jonathan C. Wilkerson, 22, Centralia, was arrested for alleged forgery and first-degree theft stemming from an incident in the 400 block of West Pear Street at about 4:30 p.m. March 31. Officers booked Wilkerson into jail at about 8:13 p.m. April 9, according to jail records. Prior to Wilkerson’s arrest, Police reportedly learned that three altered checks totaling $6,000 had been deposited into Wilkerson’s bank account. Video footage of the deposits reportedly shows Wilkerson depositing the fraudulent checks.
• Tyler D. Wright, 32, Chehalis, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for first-degree burglary in the 1100 block of Scammon Creek Road at about 1:39 a.m. April 10. According to police, Wright entered a residence he’s prohibited from contacting, according to a court order, and allegedly assaulted an occupant inside.
Accidents
• Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision near the corner of West Reynolds Avenue and Johnson Road at about 1:40 p.m. April 8.
• A two-vehicle collision was reported in the 100 block of South Tower Avenue at about 5:11 p.m. April 9.
Assault
• Officers investigated a reported assault at a business in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 3:12 p.m. April 8.
Criminal trespass
• TJ C. Davis, 27, Winlock, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail after he allegedly entered onto previously trespassed property in the 600 block of South Tower Avenue at about 12:42 a.m. April 9.
• Two individuals were trespassed after trying to steal fake fingernails from a local business in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 9 a.m. April 9.
DUI
• William R. Niemi, 22, Centralia, was arrested and booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol near the corner of Harrison Avenue and West Bridge Street at about 6:03 p.m. April 9.
Recovered stolen property
• A stolen firearm from 1977 was recovered in the 100 block of South Tower Avenue at about 1:40 p.m. April 9.
Theft
• Officers responded to the reported theft of a backpack in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at about 8:30 a.m. April 8. According to the report, the owner had left the backpack outside of a business before going inside.
• Vehicle license plates were reported stolen in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 9:28 a.m. April 8.
• Officers investigated the report of an attempted theft of allergy medication in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at about 1 p.m. April 8.
• Items were reported stolen from a local retail store in the 1300 block of Lum Road at about 6:10 p.m. April 8.

JAIL STATISTICS
• As of April 10, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 148 inmates, including 134 in the general population and 14 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 110 were reported male and 24 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 12 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of April 10, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 17 inmates. Of those, 11 were from Centralia, four were from the Department of Corrections, one was from the Quileute Nation and one was from the Shoalwater Bay Tribe.
