Sharon Kay Leseman

Sharon Kay Leseman passed away in the North Cove, Grayland Beach area Feb. 2, 2018. She was born Dec. 7, 1956, in Centralia, Wash., to Arthur A. and Katherine J. (Shock) Turner.

At a very young age, Sharon moved with her family to Huntington, Ind., where she was raised until moving back to the area in 1979. On July 4, 1994, she married Edward A. Leseman at the Winlock Lutheran Church.  Since 2001, she has worked as a fish hatchery specialist for the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife.

Sharon was a member at the American Legion. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, making wine, fishing, working with animal rescue, and had a summertime passion for yard sales.  

Surviving Sharon is her husband, Edward; her son, Robert Leseman of Orting, Wash.; two daughters, Ora Sorensen and Jenn Wolfenbarger; four brothers, Art, Jeff and Phil, all of Huntington, Ind., and Randy of Toledo, Wash.; four sisters, Mary, Sandy Roberts and Tresa, all of Huntington, Ind., and Joyce of Tacoma, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lewis County Animal Shelter at P.O. Box 367, Chehalis, WA 98532.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at the Toledo Senior Center, 150 Coal St., Toledo, WA 98591.
