Beginning Monday, June 13, the Centralia Public Works Department and contractor Active Construction Inc. will be closing Harrison Avenue from Johnson Road to Reynolds Avenue and Galvin Road between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. through the morning of Friday, June 17, as well as from Monday, June 20, to Thursday, June 23, depending on weather.
The closures are for the completion of planing and paving operations as part of a project to improve roadways and sidewalks that began in January.
Detours will be in place to use Johnson Road and Reynolds Avenue. Travelers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
