Seattle police reported several shootings and stabbings on Sunday and Monday.
Two men with gunshot wounds drove into Harborview Medical Center's emergency room ramp around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to a police blotter. Their vehicle showed noticeable bullet damage."
One man, who was shot in the hand, is in stable condition. The other man was shot multiple times and is in critical condition, police said.
Investigators found shell casings connected to the shooting in Seattle's Sodo neighborhood near 6th Avenue South and South Spokane Street.
Later on, a 41-year-old man was seriously injured after getting shot in the back twice around 1:30 a.m. on Monday in Greenwood near North 86th Street and Fremont Avenue North, police said.
The man was asleep in his van when several men tried to open the doors. The men then shot through the van's window, striking the occupant, police said.
The 41-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Earlier, around midnight Monday, a man attacked two people with a knife in Pioneer Square outside a bar on South Washington Street. A 53-year-old man slashed a 45-year-old bar employee and a 35-year-old bystander who tried to intervene after being denied alcohol and drugs, police said.
The two victims were taken to Harborview in stable condition. Police arrested the man and booked him in King County Jail on two counts of felony assault.
There was also an unrelated machete attack in Ballard Sunday night.
Police spokesperson Eric Muñoz said the shootings and stabbings aren't connected. He said police are actively investigating each incident.
"Every instance of crime (is) taken very seriously, Muñoz said.
