Tenino junior Noah Schow put his name into the Beaver record books Wednesday, reaching 1,000 career points in a 64-48 non-league win over King’s Way Christian.

Schow came into the day at 996 and took little time hitting quadruple digits, before rolling for 25 more for good measure, finishing with a game-high 29. The junior went 5 for 9 from inside the arc and 5 for 9 from outside it, while making all four of his free throws. He also logged four blocks and three steals on defense.

Austin Gonia provided his usual double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, and also had five assists. Jaxson Gore and Jack Burkhardt both added six points and five rebounds, while Will Feltus dished out eight assists from the point.

Tenino led 15-8 after a quarter, but KWC cut into its lead in the second to make it a three-point game at the break. The Beavers (7-3) made their run for good in the third, outscoring their guests by 20-10, and held the line in the fourth.

Tenino will wrap up 2023 in Portland at the home of the Trailblazers, taking on Napavine at the Moda Center on Friday.
