Noah Schow and Austin Gonia led the way for the Tenino boys basketball team on Tuesday, as the duo combined for 57 points in the Beavers’ 65-60 win over Chief Leschi.
The Tenino (6-2) offense struggled in the first half, scoring just 22 points, but exploded in the second half. The Beavers scored 24 in the third to build on a small halftime lead, and maintained it with 19 in the fourth.
Schow notched his fifth consecutive 30-point game, leading the way with 34, while Gonia recorded his eighth straight double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds.
Schow also logged a double-double, hauling in 11 rebounds while adding three blocks and two steals. Will Feltus didn’t score but was a key facilitator on offense, as he dished out nine assists.
The Beavers have now won four in a row, and they’ll go for five on Thursday at La Center.
