The Violet Prairie Grange has scheduled a free presentation to teach gardeners how to get rid of pesky bugs and diseases using “smart soil nutrition.”
The workshop is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Saturday Oct. 12 at Violet Prairie Grange, located at 17910 Violet Prairie Road-just off Old Highway 99.
Gary Kline, a 40-year organic nurseryman, who represents Nutri-Culture Northwest at www.nutrinw.com and BLOSSOM Consulting Services will lead the discussion.
