Riverhawks topple Beavers for fourth straight victory

Make it four in a row for the Toledo girls basketball team, which dominated Tenino in a 57-21 victory on Wednesday.

The Riverhawks shut down the Beaver throughout, allowing just one point in the first, three in the second, and seven in the third before Tenino put up 10 in the fourth.

Offensively, Toledo did more than enough, scoring 32 points in the first half to build a massive lead before adding on after the break.

Ellie Fallon finished with a game-high 16 points, six steals, and five rebounds, while Ryah Stanley added 15 points of her own. Sidney Kruger finished with 11 points, six steals, and five rebounds, and Taysia Miller added six points.



Kailea Lairson and Peyton Holter both added three points, Zaya Norberg scored one, and Grace Layton finished with two points, seven steals, and five boards.

Tenino was led by Kylie Gonia, who scored 12 points, while Georgia Gore scored three. Charley Jones, Lindsey Larson, and Chloe Grayless each added two.

Toledo (9-2, 1-0 C2BL) will host Rainier on Friday, while Tenino (3-12, 0-3 1A Evergreen) will welcome Rochester on Saturday.
