It was a constant barrage of runs for the Toledo softball team on Monday, when the Riverhawks scored in every inning en route to defeating Mossyrock 13-9.
Toledo led wire-to-wire, though Mossyrock did make it a game with three in the fourth, two in the fifth, and three in the bottom of the seventh.
Brenna Carver and Peyton Holter both homered, and the duo combined for five hits and three runs batted in.
Taysia Miller and Camryn Hurley both drove in two runs, and they combined for seven hits in 10 at-bats.
Holter pitched all seven innings in the circle, allowing nine runs (two earned) and striking out eight.
Erin Cournyer and Annika Ball led the Mossyrock lineup with two RBIs each, while Taylor Schwartz and Chesney Schultz combined to score five runs.
Both the Vikings and Riverhawks will be at home on Thursday. Mossyrock (2-7, 0-2 C2BL) will host Toutle Lake, while Toledo will welcome Raymond-South Bend in a non-league matchup.
