Behind another double-double from Cooper Fallon and 26 team assists, the Toledo High School boys basketball team won for the fourth time this week, beating Toutle Lake 79-56 on Friday night in Toutle.
It sets up a Saturday afternoon showdown with Napavine, where a Riverhawks (14-4, 12-1 C2BL) victory will secure at minimum the No. 2 seed in the Class 2B District 4 tournament. They turned a six-point first quarter lead into a 23-point halftime cushion.
Toledo continued to pounce with 29 points in the third to pull away. Fallon finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds while Trevin Gale added 15 and Conner Hill sank four 3s to finish with 14 points. Eli Weeks and Adam Kruger each recorded more than five assists.
“Just so cool how we’re sharing the ball,” Toledo head coach Grady Fallon said. “They just care about playing good basketball.”
