Riverhawks down Chinooks in Cowlitz County

The Toledo volleyball team came away with a crucial win in the middle of the Central 2B League standings Tuesday, beating Kalama on the road in four sets, 25-17, 25-20, 19-25, 25-20.

“It was an important win for us this late in the season,” Toledo coach Kelli Larson said.

Ellie Fallon led the offense with 14 kills and added 17 digs, while Stefa Arceo-Hansen had 10 kills and 27 digs, as well as five aces.

Lyndzie Filla led the service game with six aces and had 20 digs, while Whitney Olson dished out 34 assists to go along with 10 digs.

Toledo (6-6, 3-2 C2BL) currently occupies fifth place in the Central 2B League standings, a game and a half above the cutoff for the district tournament. The Riverhawks are set to host Morton-White Pass on Thursday.
