The Toledo girls basketball team walked into Winlock’s gym and blew the Cardinals’ breaks off early Tuesday evening, rolling to a 61-16 win in Central 2B League rivalry action.
The Riverhawks (9-5, 3-4 C2BL) opened the game on a 23-3 run, and never let the Cardinals score more than five points in a quarter, going into halftime up 42-8 and never looking back.
Ryah Stanley and Ellie Fallon both had 18 points to outscore their hosts by themselves, while Hope Gould added 12 points.
Kindyl Kelly had 10 points and six rebounds for the Cardinals (2-11, 1-6 C2BL).
Toledo will face Wahkiakum at home Thursday, while Winlock will travel to Onalaska.
