The Toledo softball team kept pace in the thick of things in the Central 2B League standings Monday, run-ruling Kalama 10-0 in the league game of the two teams’ doubleheader.

Quyn Norberg went 4 for 4 with three RBIs and three runs scored, finishing a home run shy of the cycle. Just ahead of her in the order, Mialeigh Jurica was 3 for with three runs scored, and two spots down, Kailea Lairson was 2 for 2 with a walk, a double, an RBI, and a run.

Bethany Bowen went the shortened distance for the shutout, striking out seven and allowing just three hits and a walk.

Toledo also won the second, non-league game 18-8 in five. Jurica continued her hot day with a 3-for-3 game, complete with a double, a triple, and four RBIs. Norberg went 2 for 2 with a double and three runs scored, and Abbie Marcil was 2 for 2 with a double.  Peyton Holter started in the circle and allowed seven runs — four earned — in 3 ⅔ innings, before Bowen came in to get the final four outs.

The Riverhawks will face Winlock at home on Thursday.
