Ride and Dine With Mom on the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad

On May 9, the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad & Museum scenic railroad will be hosting two Mother’s Day meal options. Moms, grandmas and the whole family can enjoy a 1 p.m. luncheon or a 5 p.m. dinner.

Flowers and chocolate will be provided for mothers.

The luncheon menu offers a choice of strawberry spring salad with feta and walnuts or a cranberry turkey sandwich.

Mimosas will be available for purchase.

The cost for the lunch and the ride comes to $62 for adults and $32 for children ages 3 through 13.

The 5 p.m. train menu has prime rib, arctic char or portobello mushrooms for dinner along with wine and beer options. The cost is $72 for adults and $37 for children ages 3 through 13.



Meals on both trains come with salad, dessert, dinner rolls and a beverage. Children ages 2 and under ride free.

The dinner train is limited to 40 guests with social distancing required. Tables seat two to four guests with two private tables available for parties of six to eight guests.

Regular outdoor seating is also available to passengers who are not having a meal. Rides cost $21 for adults and $19 for children.

All trains depart the depot at 1101 SW Sylvenus St. in Chehalis, across from the Veterans Memorial Museum off Exit 77. The depot is located approximately one mile from Interstate 5. 

Parking is free. Trains are ADA-accessible.
