The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division will conduct a random audit of the April 28 special election at 9 a.m. on April 30.
This test demonstrates the accuracy of the tabulation equipment, the auditor’s office said in a news release.
Audit observers are appointed by the county Democratic and Republican parties. If present, observers will be able to ask questions and learn more about the election process.
