The Rainier volleyball team came away with an impressive victory on Tuesday, sweeping Mossyrock 25-13, 25-19, 25-19 in both teams’ non-league finale.
Allyson Ooms posted a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs, and she also delivered two aces from the service line. Anika Plowman added nine kills and blocks, Ellie Pringle finished with nine digs and five kills, and Lexi Beckman tallied six digs and two blocks.
Courtney Eckorth dished out 14 assists, two kills, and aces, Katelyn Ecktroth also had 14 assists and had three aces, and Liberty Adair collected nine digs and three aces.
Taylor Schwartz led the Mossyrock defensive effort with 23 digs, and she also had four assists. Adyson Barrows logged 12 digs and seven kills, and Kendall Cournyer had five aces and four kills. Calliope Schultz dished out 25 assists.
Both teams open C2BL play on Thursday. Rainier will head to Onalaska while Mossyrock (4-3) will host Winlock.
