Down to their final strike on Saturday night, the Titans were on the good end of an outfield error that allowed the game-winning two runs to cross home plate in a 7-6 triumph over Jackson at Auburn Riverside High School.

It allowed the returning fourth place finishing program in Class 2B to leave King County with a 1-1 record. In the afternoon, 4A Skyview posted a 5-0 shutout win over PWV.

The Titans mustered to beat the T-Wolves with only one RBI, four hits and five walks. Down 3-1 after three innings, PWV grabbed the lead on a passed ball and the first error by Jackson that plated two runs.

Jackson took the lead right back at 6-5 on a two-run double in a three-run seventh. Lauren Matlock kickstarted the final rally with her second double of the day and a Jillian Hodel walk set up the heroics.

Hodel and Sophia Milanowski each drew two walks and Rilyn Channel had the lone RBI.

In the shutout loss, PWV had four errors and despite being in a scoreless battle through four frames. Matlock was the lone Titan with two hits.

PWV will host Ilwaco in a P2BL doubleheader on Tuesday.
