It took the Titans a combined eight innings over Tuesday’s doubleheader to dispatch of the Fishermen with a 16-1, 16-0 sweep on Tuesday afternoon at home.
Now at 3-1 on the season, PWV has scored at least 15 runs in all three victories to this point. Tyler Keeton was the star in the opener with three of her four hits going for extra bases, including two triples, and five runs batted in.
The Titans broke Game 1 open with six runs in the second and four apiece in the third and fourth frames. In the nightcap, it was an 11-run outburst in the bottom of the third to put the contest out of reach.
