Lewis County Manager Erik Martin has submitted a preliminary budget for 2023 to the Board of County Commissioners that is now available to be reviewed by the public.
The county will hold an informational public meeting on the Lewis County budget for 2023 beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 22 in the top floor of the Lewis County Courthouse.
Following that, the board will hold a final public hearing at or after 10 a.m. Dec. 5 outside of the normal Tuesday morning business meeting in order to adopt the 2023 budget and to fix the amount of the levies upon property in the county for 2023.
Copies of the draft budget are available for review at the courthouse any time between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays in the courthouse room 209 or online at lewiscountywa.gov.
