Portland police arrested three people for fighting outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in the South Waterfront on Thursday night.

The arrests happened after federal agents detained two people who were fighting around 8 p.m. and then released them.

Around 11 p.m., additional fights broke out and Portland police arrested 49-year-old Angela Davis of Vernonia and 43-year-old Son Mi Yi of Portland.

Also arrested was 27-year-old Nicholas Sortor of Washington, D.C.

Sortor describes himself on X, where he has 1.2 million followers, as a journalist who covers on-scene stories the mainstream media won’t.

The three were arrested on allegations of disorderly conduct and booked into Multnomah County jail. Sortor and Mi Yi have been released.

On Wednesday, Sortor wrote on X that Portland was a “hellhole.”

He added: “If I defend myself, *I* will be the one who gets arrested. Not the assailant. Antifa is in full control out here. President Trump NEEDS to step in”
