Portland police arrested two people during Saturday night protests near the South Waterfront U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility, thought the agency says both were wanted for “previous, unrelated events.”

Officers arrested Jennifer Bitgood, 43, in connection with a December shooting in the Mount Tabor neighborhood, they said Sunday. Bitgood is facing felony charges of coercion and unlawful use of a weapon in that case, court documents show.

Police also arrested Hailey Knight, 27, alleging that she pushed a Portland police officer near the facility on Friday. She is facing a misdemeanor harassment charge.

Portland police have arrested 82 people near the Portland ICE building that has become a rallying point in local protests against federal immigration enforcement. The building was the site of near nightly demonstrations in the fall as President Donald Trump attempted to send National Guard troops to the city. Protest activity has reignited this week after Border Patrol agents opened fire on two people in Southeast Portland an an ICE agent fatally shot a Minnesota woman.
