The Adna boys basketball team ended its regular season with a win and secured a first-round bye in the upcoming district tournament by defeating Morton-White Pass 64-31.

The Pirates took a double-digit lead after one and continued to add on with 38 points across the middle two quarters. By the time the fourth rolled around, Adna led 57-21.

As the No. 2 seed, Adna (17-4, 14-2 C2BL) will begin district tournament play in the quarterfinals at Castle Rock on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

Morton-White Pass (4-16, 3-13 C2BL) is the No. 8 seed as of Tuesday, but the T-Wolves are only a half-game up on Toutle Lake, which plays its final regular season game on Wednesday.

If the Ducks win on Wednesday against Onalaska, MWP and Toutle Lake will play a tiebreaker game on Thursday at Toledo. The winner will receive the eighth and final C2BL district tournament spot.

If Toutle Lake loses on Wednesday, the T-Wolves are the No. 8 seed and will face Toledo in the first round of the district tournament on Saturday.
