On the road in Morton, the Adna softball team swept Morton-White Pass in back-to-back three-inning games, 23-0 and 21-1.

In the first game, freshman Ava Simms tossed a three-inning no-hitter, striking out six and walking just four in the win. At the plate, the Pirates scored in all three innings, with Danika Hallom going 1 for 1 with two runs scored and two RBIs and Karlee VonMoos adding a 2 for 2 line with a walk, three runs scored and two RBIs.

MWP’s Emarey Hampton pitched for the Timberwolves, going all three innings with two strikeouts. Hampton also finished with two walks drawn.

In the second game VonMoos crushed a home run with two RBIs, and sister Ashlee hit 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and four RBIs. Karlee started in the circle, going just one inning with two strikeouts. Gracie Beaulieu came in for two innings of relief, allowing no hits but allowing one run on two walks and a few hit batters.

Shelby Karns scored the Timberwolves lone run of the day.

The Pirates take on Montesano on the road Wednesday, before taking on Kalama in their district finale Thursday, and Pe Ell-Willapa Valley Saturday in their regular season finale.

The T-Wolves play Mossyrock next at home on Thursday.
