Friends of a Portland man who died from a gunshot to his chest along with his puppy on a trail near Walupt Lake in East Lewis County in August protested at the Law and Justice Center in Chehalis on Saturday.

There have been no arrests in the case. Most recently, the Lewis County Prosecutor's Office returned the case to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office for additional information.

The family and friends of Christensen have told The Chronicle they are frustrated with a lack of information from authorities and the failure to arrest a suspect in the case.
