The family of George and Alice Zaikowski, of Centralia, gathered this past weekend to celebrate two remarkable milestones: the couple’s 82nd wedding anniversary on June 5 and Alice’s 100th birthday on June 3. George and Alice were married on June 5, 1943, and have built a legacy of love, strength and family over eight decades together, according to their family. Alice was born on June 3, 1925, and reached her centennial birthday surrounded by loved ones. Their family honored the occasion with joy, gratitude and celebration of a lifetime of shared memories and achievements, according to a statement from the family.
