The Pe Ell boys basketball team got back in the win column Thursday with an emphatic 74-26 victory over Three Rivers Christian in Longview.
The Trojans, who had lost five straight coming into the game, popped off for 20 points in the first quarter and 27 in the second to jump in front 47-14 at halftime. Pe Ell used another big run in the third to seal the deal, outscoring TRC 19-4 in the frame.
Blake Nelson led all scorers with 19 points, Liam McGrath tallied 12 points, and Mauricio Morales and Wyatt Harris each scored 10. Pierce Edgar added eight.
The Trojans (6-5, 2-2 Columbia Valley) return to action Tuesday, Jan. 20 at home against Pe Ell.
