Card and sports memorabilia collectors were out in force last weekend as Keiper’s Cards again hosted a show with more than 20 vendors selling everything from sports and trading cards to collectable toys and autographed memorabilia outside at downtown Centralia’s Tower Avenue Mall.

During the show, Keiper’s Cards owner Dan Keiper announced the next show, scheduled for Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5.

Alongside the vendors, the show will feature former Seattle Seahawks standouts Chris Warren and Joseph “Red” Bryant. They will meet with fans and sign autographs.

Bryant will attend from 1 to 2 p.m. on May 4 and Warren will meet fans from 1 to 2 p.m. on May 5.

Vendors will be at the show from 10 a.m. to 7 a.m. on May 4 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 5. Spaces for vendors are limited to a total of 24 tables. The next show will again be held in the Tower Avenue Mall, 320 N. Tower Ave. in Centralia. Vendor cost is $75 per table. To reserve a space at the show, call Keiper at 360-304-3409.

For those looking to meet Warren and Bryant, tickets can be purchased ahead of time for $25 at Keiper’s Cards or for $30 during the weekend of the show.

Originally from Jasper, Texas, Bryant was a defensive tackle who played at Texas A&M before being drafted by the Seahawks in 2008.

He went on to block four kicks during the 2011 season, breaking the Seahawks’ single-season record, and later became a team captain during the 2012-13 season.

During that season, his efforts helped the Seahawks attain the top-ranked defense in the NFL. He and the team went on to beat the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII, winning the Seahawks’ first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history.

Following that season, he left Seattle but played for two more years in the NFL, signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills and Arizona Cardinals.

Born in Silver Spring, Maryland, Warren was a running back who played at both the University of Virginia and Ferrum College before being drafted by the Seahawks in 1990.

Initially only on special teams as a kick returner, he broke out in the 1992 season, rushing for 1,017 yards and scoring three touchdowns.

He ran for over 1,000 yards over the next three seasons, including career highs of 1,545 yards in 1994 and 15 touchdowns in 1995.

Warren was also a three-time pro bowler from 1993 through 1995. By the end of his time in Seattle in 1997, he held the franchise’s career rushing yard record, though he was eclipsed in 2005 by Seahawks running back Shawn Alexander.

Following his time in Seattle, Warren played for the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles before retiring from the NFL after the 2000 season.

Keiper’s Cards, 320 N. Tower Ave., suite 4, in downtown Centralia, is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
