With October just around the corner and fall officially starting with the autumnal equinox on Sept. 22, Longmire Springs Brewing is holding its annual Oktoberfest celebration, the Packwood microbrewery announced on social media.
“Join us Saturday, Sept. 19, for an afternoon of steins, competition, and oompah music,” Longmire Springs Brewing said on Facebook.
Live music will be performed by Bonnie’s Bavarian Band starting at 6 p.m., following the stein-holding competition at 3 p.m. and hammerschlagen games at 4:30 p.m.
Additionally, patrons of the brewery will be able to enjoy special Oktoberfest brews including a märzen and a “fest bier,” along with special commemorative Oktoberfest glassware “while supplies last.”
