The Pacific Northwest Early Learning Center in Centralia will host a “Book Blast” fundraising event that supports children’s reading, and community members can contribute to the cause.
Book Blast is being held now through Sept. 29, a news release announced. Through Book Blast, each child at the Pacific Northwest Early Learning Center is guaranteed one new, age-appropriate book with opportunities to collect donations to earn more books.
The program provides an opportunity for the community to help build home libraries. Every dollar contributed goes directly toward books and educational supplies for students and staff.
