One Injured After Van Catches Fire in Chehalis

One person was burned and two were sent to the hospital for evaluations after a van caught fire just after midnight Wednesday in Chehalis.

Fire crews responded at 12:19 a.m. to a report of a fully involved passenger van fire in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue, according to the Chehalis Fire Department.



The van was occupied by two adults and one child. A man received third-degree burns to both hands. A female adult and child were transported to Providence Centralia Hospital for observation.

The fire was extinguished by 12:34 a.m., according to the Chehalis Fire Department. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
